Hello humankindness®

The EGCC Anatomy and Physiology course that is accepted for transfer to Trinity School of Nursing beginning in Spring Semester 2019 is BIO 112 (Anatomy and Physiology) instead of BIO 102 (Human Anatomy and Physiology). If a student took BIO 102 prior to January 2019, it is still transferable. However if a student plans to take Anatomy and Physiology in the Spring Semester 2019 or beyond, BIO 112 is the course that should be taken (Not BIO 102).

BIO 107 and BIO 108 (Human Anatomy/Physiology I and II) will continue to be accepted for credit at Trinity School of Nursing.

Planned Ownership Transition

Effective approximately October 1, 2026 CommonSpirit Health will transfer ownership and control of Trinity Health System, including the Trinity Health System School of Nursing, to UPMC, doing business as University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Trinity Health System School of Nursing’s academic programs, schedules, and policies will continue as usual, with no anticipated disruption. Further, the School’s administration, faculty and staff will continue in their roles at the School (subject to normal attrition).

We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition without disruption to your education.

We encourage you to contact Dean Hassan with any questions you may have during this transition.
